Dinner at Linny and Andy’s was excellent, we ate too much, drank too much and laughed a lot!
Sunday was lunch at the Pilpel house, David’s partner Lynnette was down from Perth and I always had the intention of telling her as the rest of the family know and I was sure she would be positive about it and I was right, she was very interested in the why’s and wherefore’s and again very supportive so all in all a very successful and wonderfully enjoyable weekend, one final thing which will go down as a milestone was when David asked me to have a look at his bedroom door lock which was sticking, while checking it out he asked me “when I would like him to start calling me Stephanie” it was a lovely and moment which I will cherish in my memory for ever!.
Monday is piano lesson day, the song for today was “a wonderful world” very fitting in the scheme of things then my second speech therapy session which was challenging but enjoyable, then home for a haircut, new hairdresser who is Linny’s daughter and lovely, I showed her the picture but didn’t tell her why, that will be saved for the next haircut in a months time. Very happy with the cut so will definitely be using her again!.
